- These thermometers with electrical contact device are suitable for use outdoors and in aggressive environments. Gas expansion thermometers with clip-on bulb offer some benefits to the user: no change in pipeline cross-section; the line thus remains piggable and retrofitting can be carried out without interfering with the process, simple mounting.
  If the exact orientation of the indicator is not known before mounting, we recommend using the positionable version. With this version the case may be re-positioned once by ± 180° with respect to the pipeline.

- Currently, for industrial applications, local indicating thermometers are available which work without auxiliary power but which only have an analogue dial available. They are filled with mercury or gas or are constructed as bimetallic thermometers. On account of their extremely low energy consumption in conjunction with a nearly loss-free operating microprocessor, the electronic digital thermometers from LABOM allow an entirely novel measuring device to be realised.
  The electronic digital thermometer is equipped with a lithium battery as its energy source, and this has an operating lifetime of 10 years. Furthermore, remote thermometers are available. They are easily installed because connection to the sensor and the display unit is made by means of individually adapted connection cables.
